Background & Experience
|
Prior to his current role, he was Vice President of Portfolio Management and Property Operations for Kite Realty Group. In this position, he was responsible for the oversight of an 8 million square feet national retail and office portfolio. Responsibilities included the budgeting and capital improvement forecasting for a $30 million plus annual operating expense budget; tenant relations programs; tenant receivable oversight and the creation of operating portfolio additional NOI through revenue enhancement and cost containment.
Prior to his role with Kite, Ken served as Managing Director of Asset Services for CB Richard Ellis (CBRE-NYSE), the world’s largest third-party property management company. As the Indianapolis market leader, he and his team of over forty (40) employees were responsible for property management oversight for over seven (7) million square feet of Class A commercial real estate in Indianapolis including Capital Center, Two Market Square, Market Square Center, and Meridian Plaza. In the seven years Mr. Petruska was with CBRE, he increased the total square footage under management by 5 million square feet.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Petruska was Market Leader for Lowe Enterprises Midwest, and Vice President for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker. His real estate career commenced in 1988 with the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation (now Simon Property Group), where he held multiple positions in Lima, Ohio; Toledo, Ohio; Youngstown, Ohio and Baltimore, Maryland. |
